The Intel Core Ultra 7 266V is a high-performance mobile processor that will be launched in September 2024. It is based on the Lunar Lake architecture and uses a 3nm production node. It has 8 cores, 12MB L3 cache, and a base clock speed of 2.2 GHz, which can be boosted up to 5 GHz.
This processor is energy-efficient with 17W TDP and supports PCI-Express Gen 5 connections. It has Intel Arc 140V integrated graphics and supports hardware virtualization and IOMMU virtualization, which improves virtual machine performance.
Advanced vector extensions such as AVX and AVX2 make it suitable for compute-heavy applications. However, the multiplier is locked for overclocking, and it does not support AVX-512. This chip, manufactured at TSMC’s foundry, is designed to meet modern mobile computing requirements.
