NVIDIA launched the GeForce RTX 4090 D graphics card on 28 December 2023, manufactured on a 5nm process and based on the AD102 graphics processor. It supports DirectX 12 Ultimate, making it suitable for all modern games and supports features such as hardware-raytracing, variable-rate shading.
The AD102-250-A1 variant holds 14592 shading units, 456 texture mapping units, 176 ROPs, and 456 tensor cores enhancing machine learning application. It comes with 114 raytracing acceleration cores as well. Memory wise, this GeForce RTX 4090 D has got 24 GB of GDDR6X that is connected by a 384-bit memory interface, and this GPU frequency is boostable to 2280 MHz to 2520 MHz.
This card uses the PCI-Express 4.0 x16 interface and has a power connector of 1x 16 pin. It also supports a triple-slot cooling solution with dimensions of 304mm x 137mm x 61mm. It came out at US$1599 upon its launch and is a great choice for use in gaming and high-performance computing.
