NVIDIA launched the RTX A1000 on April 16, 2024, which is based on an 8nm process and GA107 graphics processor. It supports DirectX 12 Ultimate. The GA107 chip has a die area of 200 mm², with 8,700 million transistors. The RTX A1000 has 2304 shading units, 72 texture mapping units, 32 ROPs, and 72 tensor cores, which help with AI workloads. It also includes 18 ray tracing acceleration cores.
It has 8GB of GDDR6 memory, connected to a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU runs at 727 MHz base and 1462 MHz boost clocks, while the memory operates at an effective speed of 12Gbps. This single-slot card consumes a maximum of 50W of power and offers 4x Mini-DisplayPort 1.4a connectivity. This compact card with a PCIe 4.0 x8 interface is 163mm long and 69mm wide, featuring a single-slot cooling system.
