The Huawei eKitStor Xtreme 200E is a solid-state drive with an M.2 2280 form factor, available in capacities ranging from 512 GB to 1 TB. It uses the PCI-Express 4.0 x4 interface, delivering excellent performance. It uses 232-layer QLC NAND flash (manufactured by YMTC), but a DRAM cache is missing. The pseudo-SLC cache (260 GB) is helpful in boosting write speeds, although data copy speeds are relatively slow (98 MB/s).
The drive’s sequential read and write speeds are 7,000 MB/s and 6,500 MB/s, while random IO performance is 900K IOPS for reading and 1000K IOPS for writing. It costs 32 USD, with a five-year warranty and a 400 TBW endurance rating.
