Intel launched the Arc A580 graphics card on October 10, 2023. It is based on the 6nm process and uses the DG2-512 graphics processor (ACM-G10 variant). With DirectX 12 Ultimate support, this card is capable of running all modern games smoothly and also offers advanced features like hardware-ray tracing, variable-rate shading.
The Arc A580 includes 3072 shading units, 192 texture mapping units, 96 ROPs, and 24 ray tracing cores. It also has 384 tensor cores, which help increase the speed of machine learning applications. The 8GB GDDR6 memory, with a 256-bit memory interface, runs at an effective memory speed of 16 Gbps. The base frequency of the GPU is 1700 MHz, which can boost up to 2000 MHz.
Being a dual-slot card, it draws up to 175 W of power via 2x 8-pin power connectors. Display connectivity includes 1x HDMI 2.1 and 3x DisplayPort 2.0 ports. The Arc A580 connects to the system via a PCI-Express 4.0 x16 interface, making it an affordable option for both gaming and productivity.
