Intel Core Ultra 5 225T – Specs and Benchmark
Intel’s Core Ultra 5 225T is a 10-core desktop processor launching in January 2025, which uses the Arrow Lake architecture and Socket 1851. This processor comes with 20 MB L3 cache and operates at a base frequency of 2.5 GHz, which can boost up to 4.9 GHz.
Built on a 3nm process, this chip has 17,800 million transistors and is manufactured at TSMC’s foundry. The processor’s multiplier is locked, so there are no super-clocking attempts. The 65W TDP ensures high energy efficiency. It supports dual channel DDR5 memory up to 6400 MT/s.
The Core Ultra 5 225T uses a PCI-Express Gen 5 connection and has integrated Arc Xe-LPG 16EU graphics. Hardware virtualization and IOMMU virtualization make it ideal for virtual machine use. It supports Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX) and AVX2 standards, which enhance the performance of high-compute applications, although AVX-512 is unavailable.
This processor offers a balance of power, performance, and modern technology features, making it an excellent choice for virtualization and multi-tasking.
