The Intel Core Ultra 5 226V is an 8-core mobile processor based on the Lunar Lake architecture and will launch in September 2024. It is manufactured in BGA 2833 packaging and on a 3nm node, using TSMC’s foundry. The processor operates at a base clock speed of 2.1 GHz with 8MB L3 cache, which can increase up to 4.5 GHz in Turbo mode.
With a 17W TDP, it offers an energy-efficient design. The PCI-Express Gen 5 connection and Arc 130V integrated graphics make it suitable for multitasking and graphics tasks. It enhances virtual machine performance due to hardware virtualization and IOMMU support.
With support for AVX and AVX2 extensions, it is ideal for compute-intensive applications, although AVX-512 is unavailable. Overclocking is not possible due to the locked multiplier. This processor is suitable for machine learning, virtualization, and energy-efficient applications.
