NVIDIA has launched the RTX 500 Mobile Ada Generation on February 26, 2024. It is a professional mobile graphics chip, manufactured on a 5 nm process and based on the AD107 graphics processor. This chip supports DirectX 12 Ultimate, which provides better performance for gaming and professional applications.
The AD107 graphics processor has a die area of 159 mm² and includes 18,900 million transistors. This chip has 2048 shading units, 64 texture mapping units, and 32 ROPs, which enable graphics rendering and data processing.
The RTX 500 Mobile Ada Generation also has 64 tensor cores, which improve the speed of machine learning applications. In addition, it includes 16 raytracing acceleration cores, which improve real-time raytracing.
The chip comes with 4 GB of GDDR6 memory, which uses a 64-bit memory interface and runs at 2000 MHz (16 Gbps effective). The chip has a frequency of 1485 MHz, which can be boosted up to 2025 MHz.
